Job Description
As a Support Worker at Ignite Nursing Ltd, you will assist in providing person-centred care to individuals in their daily lives, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life. You will be responsible for supporting individuals with personal care, activities and everyday tasks and ensuring their safety and well-being. You’ll be part of a dedicated team that works closely with service users to create and implement personalised care plans. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to individuals, including assistance with daily living tasks
- Encourage and promote independence, supporting individuals to engage in social, recreational, and community activities
- Assist in the development and implementation of personalised care plans
- Provide emotional and physical support, ensuring the well-being of individuals at all times
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and reports
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures
- Assist with medication management, as required
- Ensure that individuals’ privacy, dignity, and rights are respected at all times
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience in person-centred care or working with individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues, or physical disabilities is preferred
- Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 is required
- Care Certificate completed or willingness to complete
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring, patient, and empathetic approach
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
- A valid UK driving licence

Education and Qualifications
- Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 required
- Care Certificate completed or willingness to complete

- Confidence in responding to ligature related risks
- Accurate record keeping and communication skills
- Awareness of infection control, safeguarding, and health and safety standards
